Why RR Security fits digiGate
digiGate Pro is a UK-developed smart gate control system. It adds phone control, user management and access logs to automated gates, barriers, bollards, garage doors and roller doors, so there are no more lost remotes or shared keycodes.
How it works
- digiGate Pro hub: connects to your network and talks to a wireless receiver wired into the gate or barrier controller over an encrypted long-range link.
- Additional receivers: add more gates, barriers or doors to the same system.
- Works with your existing gate: digiGate lists compatibility with the major gate control board makers, including BFT, CAME, FAAC, Nice, Somfy and Hormann.
The digiGate app
The free app for iPhone and Android lets each user open, hold open or close the gate. You decide who has access, when, and whether they can open it remotely or only on site. Users can be added or removed instantly and every open is logged.
Optional extras
digiGate offers paid add-ons such as Call to Open, WhatsApp access and number plate recognition with a dedicated camera. RR Security will tell you which, if any, are worth it for your site.
Installation, training and servicing
RR Security checks your gate or barrier controller, installs and connects digiGate, sets up users and schedules, and shows you how to manage it. We also service and support existing digiGate systems.
