About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website and to quotes and work provided by RR Security, the trading name of Rob Rasey, based in Andover, Hampshire.

Using this website

The information on this site is general guidance about the systems we install. It is not a quote or a specification for your property. We try to keep it accurate but do not guarantee it is complete or up to date.

Quotes

• A quote is based on the survey and the information you give us. If what we find on site differs, for example hidden obstructions or wiring that is not as expected, we will tell you and agree any change in price before continuing.
• Each quote states how long it is valid for.
• Work goes ahead once you accept the quote. Any deposit required will be shown on the quote.

Installation

• We will agree a date with you and let you know as soon as possible if it needs to change.
• Please make sure we have safe access to the areas we need to work in.
• Equipment remains our property until it has been paid for in full.

Payment

Payment terms are set out on your quote and invoice.

Your right to cancel

If you are a consumer and you agree to work away from our business premises, for example at your home, you normally have 14 days to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to start work within that period and then cancel, you may have to pay for work already carried out and equipment already supplied or fitted.

Equipment and warranties

Equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty. Details of any warranty on our workmanship are given on your quote. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Your responsibilities with CCTV

You are responsible for how you use the CCTV we install, including complying with data protection law where cameras record beyond your property boundary.

Liability

Security systems reduce risk but cannot guarantee that a break-in or loss will not happen. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
